Bryelle Kerrigan Burgus is a playwright, director, designer, and producer. Bitten by the “theatre bug” over 20 years ago, she has gone on to be involved in all aspects of production and helm over forty productions as a director and designer. From traditional proscenium theatre to immersive experiences, she approaches each project with a joyous collaborative spirit and a never-ending curiosity revolving around journeys of self-discovery, subverting expectations, and the power of community.

She led the award winning high school theatre program of Walter Panas High School as Artistic Director for seven years and was the Head Electrician & Programmer Off-Broadway at Life & Trust (Emursive Productions - producer of Sleep No More). She is currently the Creative Producer at Midnight Mansion, an immersive entertainment company based in Massachusetts.

As a playwright and creator, her original works explore women’s history, themes of mental health, and often centralize LGBTQ+ stories in the narrative. From the hardships of mortal existence to the chaotic joy of humanity, her experiences invite people to look introspectively - with the goal of making the world more connective one human at a time.

She holds an MFA (Theater) from Sarah Lawrence College and is a graduate of SUNY Purchase College (Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies: Arts, double minor in Playwriting and Arts Management).
