Bryelle Burgus is a passionate director and theatre artist. With a multidisciplinary background in design, playwriting, and choreography, she is a multifaceted, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic director who uses this understanding to foster strong collaboration between all elements of production and motivate others to surpass self-expectations. As a director, she finds new threads in stories and uses them to weave brand new tales - exploring comedy and improvisation to reinvent them into journeys of self discovery and empowerment. She produces playful, polished, and thought-provoking work and enjoys creating an atmosphere of community, joy, and high bar setting.

She has directed, choreographed, and designed over thirty musical productions. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Overture Arts Theatre Company, a graduate of SUNY Purchase College (Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies: Arts, double minor in Playwriting and Arts Management) and holds an MFA (Theatre) from Sarah Lawrence College.
